His Enduring Love
God wants a relationship with you.
Our yearning for a connection with our Creator is no coincidence. Mankind was designed to be in relationship with God.
God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female, he created them. Genesis 1:27
I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.
Jeremiah 24:7
From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. Acts 17:26-27

Jesus
There is a great chasm between humans and God because humans are sinful and God is righteous. Before Jesus came to earth, regular sacrifices were required to atone for the sin that
separates us from God and bring us to right standing with God.
Jesus, God's Son, became the ultimate sacrifice for us when he died on the cross. His sacrifice was the one-time payment that covered sin once and for all, and restores our relationship with God. When we put our trust and faith in Jesus, we are made new creations in Him.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:10
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one. John 10:28-30
Gifts of being in relationship with God

Peace

Wisdom
Comfort
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
John 16:33
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5
For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
James 3:17

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
Proverbs 3:13-16
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

1 Peter 1:3-4

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. John 15:11
